Surv. Abiloro Segun Peter, MNIS, MGEOSON, is a SURCON-registered Professional Surveyor, Geospatial Consultant, and Founder & CEO of Fundamental Geocare Nigeria Limited. With a decade of progressive professional experience, he specializes in cadastral, engineering, topographical, and hydrographic surveying, GIS, remote sensing, drone mapping, land administration, environmental impact assessment, and geospatial consultancy.
He has successfully led multidisciplinary teams in the execution of major land acquisition and geospatial projects, including the 500-hectare Igbemo-Ekiti Rice Mill Farm, the 112-hectare Ekiti State Polytechnic project, the over 300-hectare Irele-Ekiti Cattle Ranch project, topographic surveys for sections of Ekiti State University, and the development of a geodatabase for health centres within Ado-Ekiti Metropolis, among numerous other public and private sector projects.
A young and respected leader within the surveying profession, he currently serves as the South-West Zonal Chair of the Young Surveyors Network (YSN), having previously served as YSN Chair, Ekiti State, and Secretary, South-West Zone. He has also served and still serving on several committees of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS) and the Association of Private Practising Surveyors of Nigeria (APPSN), contributing to professional development and the advancement of surveying practice in Nigeria.
